Terms of Service

By accessing or using Dynasty Buddy (the "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the Service.

Dynasty Buddy is a hobby project and best-effort service for managing dynasty fantasy football leagues. It is provided "as is" with no uptime guarantees.

You must be at least 13 years old to use the Service. By creating an account you represent that you meet this requirement.

You may create one account per person. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us immediately at lukee412@gmail.com if you suspect unauthorized access.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

Free tier — up to 2 Sleeper leagues, roster and pick valuations, trade builder/analyzer/finder, draft tool, alerts, and a limited number of AI Dynasty Expert questions to try it out. Free with no payment required.

Dynasty Buddy Pro ($5/month) — unlimited leagues, the full Analysis page (rookie pick hit rates, future prospects, class outlook), and full AI Dynasty Expert access (~50 questions/month). Everything in Free is included.

Subscription billing. Pro subscriptions are billed monthly through Stripe as the payment processor. No card data touches our servers — all payment processing is handled by Stripe. You may cancel at any time from your account settings or through the Stripe Customer Portal. Access continues until the end of the current billing period. Partial-month refunds are not provided (starter policy — owner should review before launch).

Bring Your Own API Key. Optionally, you may supply your own Anthropic API key on the account page to use the AI Dynasty Expert without the monthly question cap. Providing a key does not grant Pro features (e.g. the Analysis page).

Dynasty Buddy aggregates data from third-party sources including FantasyCalc, KeepTradeCut, ESPN, FantasyPros, Sleeper, nflverse, and CollegeFootballData. This data is provided "as is" and may be inaccurate, delayed, or change without notice.

Values, projections, rankings, and other data displayed in the Service are for informational and entertainment purposes only. They are not financial or betting advice. Do not make real-money decisions based solely on information from this Service.

Dynasty Buddy is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or in any way officially connected to Sleeper, the NFL, or any sports league.

The AI Dynasty Expert feature is powered by Anthropic's Claude API. Your messages and relevant roster/league context are sent to Anthropic to generate responses. See Anthropic's privacy policy for how they handle this data.

AI-generated responses may be inaccurate, incomplete, or outdated. Do not rely on them as professional sports, financial, or legal advice. AI usage is metered and subject to daily caps for Free and Pro users; admin and BYO-key users are exempt.

You agree not to:

• Scrape, crawl, or systematically download data from the Service.
• Attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or extract source code.
• Resell or sublicense access to the Service.
• Use the Service to abuse, harass, or harm others.
• Circumvent any rate limits, access controls, or security measures.
• Use automated scripts to create accounts or generate excessive traffic.

We reserve the right to suspend accounts that violate these rules without prior notice.

Dynasty Buddy may accept voluntary tips or donations. All donations are voluntary and non-refundable. Making a donation does not grant any additional features, entitlements, or priority support beyond what your account tier already provides.

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR FREE OF HARMFUL COMPONENTS.

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, IN NO EVENT SHALL DYNASTY BUDDY OR ITS OPERATORS BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, EXEMPLARY, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES (INCLUDING LOSS OF DATA, REVENUE, OR PROFITS) ARISING OUT OF OR IN CONNECTION WITH YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE, EVEN IF ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.

Starter boilerplate — owner/attorney should tailor the liability cap and jurisdiction before launch.

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will post the updated Terms on this page with a new "Last updated" date. Continued use of the Service after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms. We encourage you to review these Terms periodically.

We may terminate or suspend your access to the Service at our sole discretion, without prior notice, for conduct that we believe violates these Terms or is harmful to other users, us, or third parties.

You may delete your account at any time by contacting us at lukee412@gmail.com. Upon account deletion, your personal data will be removed in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
